SECURITY IN THE ELECTRONIC VOTING SYSTEM

Knowing the electronic ballot box - Security, durability and handling easiness were some of the guidelines adopted for the conception of the electronic ballot box. Concretely it is a simple, light, easily storable and transportable machine. It can be tied directly to the socket and, in case of lack of electricity, it works with its internal battery or even connected to an automotive battery.

The electronic ballot box is made up of two micro-terminals (one located in the voting cabin and the other with the voting board representative) connected by a cable 5 meters long. Externally the micro-terminals have only a numerical keyboard, which does not accept any command executed by the simultaneous pressure of more than a key. The other external elements are especially designed to receive seals, guaranteeing the inviolability and identification of each ballot box.
